Citrix / XenSource announces OEM Edition hypervisor

Beating time on VMWare, Citrix / XenSource announces the availability of OEM versions of XenExpress. This version is fully compatible and upgradeable to Xen Enterprise 4 and will feature migration to virtualization technology in Windows 2008.

With this move is anticipated the announcement of VMWare (which will probably during VMworld in San Francisco) who is working with major vendors such as HP, IBM and Dell to provide hardware appliances with the hypervisor pre-installed on solid state disks.
