VMware has officially announced the release of their embedded hypervisor called VMware ESX Server 3i. This version will integrada of systems of many hardware vendors such as Dell, Fujitsu, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HP, IBM, NEC and probably many more that will be able to provide the appliances for a hypervisor based virtualization enclosed in a package only 32MB .

This move, from a few days earlier by a similar announcement from Citrix / XenSource , is certainly strategically important because it allows you to further consolidate its leadership position against competitors: the battle is on!
