Citrix XenApp and areas: The Definitive Guide
For some releases of Presentaton Server (first) and XenApp (now), Citrix has introduced the concept of area, which, with a certain approximation, can be assimilated to the concept of "Site" Active Directory. But how much and how many areas should be set up? And what is the impact of a new zone at the network level?
The answer comes from the official community of Citrix, where James Rabey has published an interesting article which describes the use and operation of areas while also providing the necessary information to calculate the exact impact of an area-wide traffic.
