Citrix has made available for download the new version of XenDesktop, VDI solution based on the ICA protocol. With this minor release, Citrix has introduced a number of improvements:

• improved management of large installations
• extended the capabilities of management and administrative provisions of desktop provisioning
• Powershell SDK for system administrators of the Desktop Delivery Controller
• auto-detect and Desktop Receiver client distribution
• improved distribution of the Virtual Desktop Agent via Group Policy
• introduces support for Microsoft Hyper-V through SCVMM (when available)
• support for VHD virtual disk format

Unfortunately, no news with regard to the extension projects of the ICA protocol to the multimedia content (codecs Ulysses).
