Now waiting for some fear, nuva VMware today released version of its VDI solution, completely revised and improved, starting with its name: View.

VMware View is actually a suite of products includes:

• VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMware Infrastructure 3 + VMware View Manager 3)
• Storage Optimization with VMware View Composer
• Application Virtualization with VMware ThinApp
• Client Virtualization with Offline Desktop (feature still experimental)

With this version of VMware is a big step forward in functionality, but for the moment are not yet known, but it is clear that some features of the suite will not be included in the basic package.

As usual, VMware offers a trial version of the product used for 60 days.
