Citrix XenAppPrep Integration Utility for XenApp / Presentation Server
Cloning a XenApp server is not as trivial as it is necessary to make some changes to the server before copying. Similarly, prepare a server for streaming via Citrix Provisioning Server requires similar attention.
Citrix has upgraded what was once called "Citrix Provisioning Server PS Integration Utility", an extremely convenient way to prepare the server for the generation of clones or template for streaming.
This application does the following things:
- Delete the Resource Manager local database of XenApp 4.0 and 4.5
- Canella the line that specifies the Windows Security Identifier (WSID) and in MF20.dsn RadeOffline.dsn
- WFCName.ini Delete file (installed by older versions of the ICA client)
- Edit the file CtxSta.config file to create a unique STA ID (using the MAC address)
- Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Citrix \ IMA \ Runtime \ PSRequired to 1
- Delete the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Citrix \ IMA \ ServerHost
- Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Citrix \ Provisioning Server \ PVSImage to 1
- Set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Citrix \ IMA \ Logging \ HostName with the new computer name
- Set HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ AppID \ {BBBF5400-E091-11D8-AD76-005056C00008} \ RunAs to <new computer name> \ Ctx_SmaUser (only for images of Presentation Server 4.0)
- Empty the local host cache and the database RadeOffLine
