VMware releases View 3.0.1
VMware has released an update to its solution to manage and provision the Desktop.
The new release fixes several bugs, including an annoying problem of communication (SSL) between the Security Server and the Connection Manager. VMware has also introduced some new features including:
- Integration of the ThinPrint Virtual Channel Gateway module that provides native support for communication with ThinPrint server
- View the Windows client is able to pass the machine name to the virtual machine
It is not clear if this new version is already supported by the VMware View Open Client.
