Citrix could not rule out a long time Linux platform from the world XenDesktop. In fact any ICA client is sufficient to connect to XenDesktop, but the new release also introduces some specific functions, one for all: USB support.
To complicate the lives of partners and end users, Citrix could not refrain from changing the name to the product, which is called XenApp plugin is not called nor AppReceiver Desktop Receiver, but simply Citrix Receiver for Linux!
Among the new features in this release:

• Font smoothing (ClearType)
• SpeedScreen Multimedia Acceleration
• Support multi-language installations
• Special Folder Redirection
• Reboot the virtual desktop
• USB support
• Support for Kerberos authentication
