Praim releases new terminals ino900
Praim known Italian company active in the world of thin clients, presents the latest in the world of the terminals. It's called a terminal ino900 and is particularly interesting because of its characteristics.
The ino900 is available in three versions:
- The WT910-equipped with Windows CE 6.0 R2
- The XT920-equipped system ThinOX 8 (linux-based)
- The XP940-equipped with Windows XP Embedded SP3
Of particular interest is the new ThinOX 8, which, together with the release of the new hardware platform, has been renovated: in particular, this release introduces version 11 of the Citrix Receiver for Linux, version designed to support XenDesktop and some important features such as 'acceleration HDX MediaStream. The ThinOX 8 also comes ready to connect to VMware View 3.1 and supports other brokers EVs and integrates support for smart cards.
The new terminal shows a very small form factor, suitable for installation behind an LCD monitor (there is a VESA bracket anchor) and ensures a good energy savings by consuming only 9 watts.
