Citrix XenApp 5.0 does not yet support Windows Server 2008 R2
Nonostanteil GA release is set for October 22, many partners and some customers already have access to the RTM version of Windows Server 2008 R2, with the new Terminal Services Remote Desktop Services now calls.
XenApp for users, however there is a compatibility problem: basically you can not install XenApp 5 on Windows Server 2008 R2, and apparently there is no workaround.
The official response from Citrix is that Windows Server 2008 R2 is not supported by the release of XenApp 5 and will be supported in the future.
In fact, a few months already Feature Pack 1 for Citrix XenApp 5 that among the many new features, it could also include support for the latest Microsoft home.
