How to repair the performance counters of the ICA protocol
It is not uncommon to find a server in the Event Viewer for errors related to XenApp performance counters.
Just agiutare for the administrator to manage this type of error, Citrix has released a new tool that can "fix" the performance counters for the ICA protocol. More specifically (extracted from records):
- icaperf 1 - Repair Only ICA Performance Monitor Counters
- icaperf 2 - Repair Only Metaframe XP Performance Monitor Counters
- icaperf 3 - Repair Only IMA Performance Monitor Counters
- icaperf 4 - Repair ALL Metaframe ICA, IMA & XP Performance Monitor Counters
Obviously these are operations that go to edit the registry of the machine and therefore you should always back up. In addition, this tool is formally declared "unsupported" and therefore should be used with extreme caution!
