VMware releases Workstation 3.0 and Player 7
VMware has updated their type 2 hypervisor, VMware Workstation, which reached version 7. Similarly, VMware has also released version of the Player reaches version 3.0 and it aligns the functions of his older brother.
VMware Workstation 7 introduces an impressive number of innovations. Among the many:
- Support for Windows 7 as host and guest operating system
- Support for Aero Glass with a new Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) graphics driver
- Compatibility with Windows XP Mode, with the ability to import a virtual machine Windows XP Mode add native functionality of VMware Workstation

Due to the interest in this and other product newly updated VMware indicates that there may be delays in issuing new license keys.
VMware Player 3.0 introduces support for Windows 7 and the new features in VMware Workstation 7.
