Citrix acquires VMLogix
He was gone too long since acquisition and to not be too far behind, Citrix has decided to end the month of August with the acquisition of VMLogix.
VMLogix has become famous in late 2006 by offering one of the first solutions "lab automation" for virtual environments. In 2009 the company has signed an OEM agreement with Citrix, which has thus begun to deploy the solution with VMLogix Essentials for XenServer and Hyper-V.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2010 and VMLogix technologies are likely to be fully integrated into the next release.
