Citrix Receiver 1.2 for Android

Citrix's attention to mobile devices is always very high. During the month of August, Citrix has upgraded its receiver (the ICA client required to connect to XenApp and XenDesktop) for Android devices.

The new version 1.2 of the Citrix Receiver for Android adds several interesting new features:

  1. Support for the pinch-to-zoom on Android 2.1 and 2.2
  2. Removed on-screen controls that have been moved to the menu structure
  3. New system for scrolling
  4. New gesture to support the click the right mouse button and drag
  5. New management of the pan
  6. New icons, designed for devices with larger screens
  7. Support for non-standard paths in the configuration with Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Edition

The Android client becomes even more interesting after the official launch of new Android-based tablet, with the new Samsung Galaxy Tab
